Traps that is ! I had a go at a small modified figure 4 today, I actually found it harder to make than when doing full sized ones.

Took a pic of it next to a knife you will all likely be familiar with for a size comparison~

This was actually the knife I used, my Breeden Bugaboo necker ~

I'm sure with the talent on this forum there will be some that can carve them much smaller than this so give it a go !:D

Think I've seen some posted made out of toothpicks somewhere. Not sure I'd bother trapping anything quite that small personally, but it's an interesting exercise nonetheless.

Hi pit -

Neat idea -

Maybe we can do that tomorrow at the gathering.

I've missed Pierre. He has been quite the willing participant in Doc's trap testing over the years. And has always kept a good attitude no matter what indignations he has been subjected to. In fact, I had begun to be concerned about his long absence from the forum.

:)

I was actually afraid that one of Doc's guests had been practicing with the atl-atl again!

(Pierre was not harmed in the above photo, only slightly dazed)

Just found this, I will make a smaller one, but this was used last year with success!

Sitting in bed sick as a dog. You inspired me to do SOMETHING.

Edit to add. Why not an "action" video of it capturing the knife that created it LOL? (Spyderco Delica)

Hi guys -

I did one with toothpicks as well - it is harder than you might think, but a great way to get the basics memorized so you can make larger ones.
