Here are a couple pieces I made recently, mostly to get the cobwebs out :).

First up is a big hamon bowie. Forged from 1095 modified, 10.5"x.35"x2", old Westinghous phenolic, 416ss. OAL around 16.25".

Next up is a damascus camp bowie. Forged from o1/l6/w2. 7.6" blade, Brazilian rosewood handle, 416ss guard.

Matt,

There's something about the shapes of these knives that combines brute strength and grace. You can really nail it! Plus the handle shape and that complex hamon on the 1095;these are great.

i love em both matt!....i always liked your very sculpted looking handles and the blades shapes are always bad to the bone!......i noticed em both up for sale in the makers section too for anyone interested....very fair price i think too......ryan

in my mind this is the epitome of the bowie class, I just LOVE the big southwest style bowie

hats off man

Both look REALLY good. I especially like the lines on the bowie. Looks like the same bakelite that Karl Anderson has a bunch of.
