I have a good buddy and former US Air Force SERE instructor that helped me get ready for G2, so for some payback I built him his "Dream Knife" The design is pretty common one in the research I did on throwing knife design, balance is where it should be, it has plenty of weight for good deep sticks, and most important made from some very tough steel which is S7 with a HRc of 56-57.

Custom SAR Global Tool Throwing Knife
Specs:
.277 x 13.5 OAL
13.5 OZ.
Tumbled smooth finish.
Black kydex sheath

Thanks
SAR

oh dude, that is so up my alley:cool:
pm onna way!

I'm sure your buddy is going to be very happy.

The whole package looks great.

Take care

Charles

Charles thanks for the nice comments.

With both of us being veterans, I specifically finished the knife on Veterans day. It really dawned on my buddy when I handed it to him at exactly the 11th hour, I saw the hair on his arms raise. Cool stuff we do and the effect it can have on friends.

Lorien I got your pm and will consider or see if I have time to build another, I am over committed as it is at the current moment thanks for the interest.
