I started grinding one of my all time favorite designs this morning. I like it because it reminds me of when I was a kid, a long, long, time ago! Let`s see if anyone can guess what it is.

Here are some clues.

It`s an older design.
There are only two in existance.
Both are in tiger stripe maple. (this one will be too)
One of the members here, who used to post a lot, has one.

OK, since no one wants to play, how about the winner who either posts a photo of it, or gives the name of it, gets $10 off of their next order!

Is it a Kephart Camp Knife? Or a Early Hunter Style, similar to a Green River Knife?

Very close! If you were to rearrange the words a little you would have it! Early Style Hunter is the correct answer, so you win!

Cool. I like it. I have always loved the green river styles, but they seem too frail except for kitchen stuff. What would
it cost for a 6 inch version in torched Tiger stripe maple, 1/4" brass pins, w/ lanyard hole in 3/16"?

Why don`t you wait untill I post a pic later next week to see if we are talking the same style knife. It runs $175.
