Hey Guys and Gals,

Hit a 1000 post had a vote and we all came in last with Traditionals in 1st, Beckers 2nd, Ka-Bar 3rd and Us
That's Ok got a Bunch heading to the Spa
So you all get a chance going to keep simple

Ok I must be slow here. This is the Buck sale forum. So I 'assume' NOK is doing a give away with a requirement of showing you own a Buck knife. I can grasp this if it is the truth, but I can find no knife that is being given away. A for sale forum should have a knife in a posting even if you are giving it away. Am I lost in space ? Or does the knife come as a surprise.
I think I would like to see a photo of the prize Buck knife since this is a sale forum. What am I missing..........300

Fair enough wanted to do something special for my Buck Brother's so this be the prize

Gaw prize is the Special or should I say The Elusive 119 (This 1 is old photo of a 119 Elusive the 1 for the Gaw will be fresh from the spa but does not come with the Box) Good Luck 1 and All

 


Oops, just saw the 250 post in Buck forums requirement. I'm about 233 shy of that bench mark!

My thoughts exactly, and then there is also the forum rule (that no one ever reads) that discussion is not allowed in "for sale" threads. AND, 300BUCKS, you are the moderator!!
 
Thanks, I did ask for feedback, good or bad. Being a one site moderator means you generally learn by experience(s). These give away postings and comments are common in the Traditional forum and my best guess now after going to the FAQ and reading some rules is that it actually belongs in the regular Buck forum. But, only because the OP is a Gold member. To my knowledge this is only the second give away thread the Buck forum has had.

I do not want to kill the OPs thread. Tonight go ahead and post photos while I figure out how to move the whole thing over to the regular Buck forum. First level moderators have problems messing around in sale forum threads, even if it is a Buck sale area.

This thread was not suited to the Buck Sale area BUT....Bumping this to the top of regular forum for fresh start. Post photos for the Give-away. It looks like a really good knife.

I've noticed as well,--- nuto does it sort of vague like that. I'm glad someone penned him down on the particulars. DM
