hey guys i Just picked this up at a yard sale.. Anyone ever seen this knife before?? know anything about it?

Not one that I've seen before but it looks to be in decent shape. Looks like there is a model number on tang stamp so send the question to Ka-Bar and see if they might know. I posted a question on a recent Ka-Bar hunting knife I acquired and after hearing nothing from the Ka-Bar forum on it I emailed Ka-Bar and received a response, albeit, not a very detailed one as I had hoped. Maybe you will fair better! Good luck...

According to those numbers on the tang and matching it up with the list of Ka-Bar numbers in their PDF file:

Number - 2721
Year mfg. - 1999
End of mfg. - cont'd

Looks like it's a fairly newer knife, and still being manufactured.
