Just gave my mom my old Surefire E2DL, the 120 lumen variety. She's started walking for exercise, and often goes at night. Thought the light might keep her a little bit safer. What do y'all think?

A walking partner, reflective jacket/shorts..and a 1911.

Unaccompanied women at night are frequent targets for evil people who can be anywhere at anytime.

Talking your Mother here..while I wouldn't automatically put her on a Senior Citizens home treadmill could be time well spent thinking of all aspects of personal safety.

Best.

Every little bit helps. I carry a light of this size when walking at night primarily to avoid problems before they begin. There is a lot to be said about being alert and aware of your surroundings. 120 lumens isn't as bright as many available lights but it does pretty well and should help her know what is in the shadows. Good on ya.

Thanks guys, I thought it should suit her just fine. Now I just need to replace my Surefire Stock!

She's not into guns, or knives. And in northern suburbia, while crime can happen anywhere...its more for her just to see who's out there and whats ahead.
