Just gave my Umnum the scotch brite spa treatment and I'm loving it!!! The two tones of the scotch brite treated part and the factory stone washed in the slashes! My new EDC for life!!! Got the pics of the fresh from Idaho to the new and improved, Hope you guys like!

I'm contemplating doing this myself. My EDC Zaan is getting pretty beat up.

Looks perfect to me mang! I 3M'ed my first Seb & really liked it. Since then I've just let em ride. I have two that look pretty much like yer Zaan. LOVE IT! As a matter of fact I think I'm done with stonewashed Ti Striders too. It's not that I like the flamed Ti that much (ok I like it "><" that much). I just enjoy the way it wears. It's like earning your Stonewash. We should start calling it "Manwashed." Hehe. OK "Personwashed" for Lisantica. Damn. Manwashed has such a better ring to it.

I personally don't like the scotchbrite finish as to me is makes the knife slippery in hand. I did it to a scuffed up large regular sebenza awhile back and immediately hated it and sold it. I like the grip the blasted Ti gives you.

My Sebs in the safe are 100%, but the ones I carry have some honest wear-marks on the scales. I don't mind it at all.
