Hi,
I have been lurking here a bit lately; suddenly I am intrigued with old school folders.
After years of SAKs and tactical folders I need to buy some slipjoints. I bought a Buck-Chinese Trapper on a whim at WW and the bug bit. Now I want a knife from a traditional US maker.
I am thinking of getting a Case Moose (dark red bone CV) and Yellow med Stockman in CV.
I seem to like the style of the moose over a trapper; the blades seem the same. Is there any key difference between the two?
Who would you suggest as a reasonable and reliable online dealer to get these?

Generally the difference between the clip point on a Moose vs. a Trapper is that the Moose has a heavier/wider clip comparable to what you'd see on a stockman as opposed to the narrower more elongated clip blade. Naturally, there is some variation depending on maker.
