Yep, a good friend of mine helped me collect a debt and I was wanting to give him a thank you gift. Now I was thinking a BK 9 with some Micarta on it, but when I got to his house he saw my newish BK 11 with Micarta and really liked it. So there it was. I'm missing that little blade already.

You folks ever give these things away?

Let's hear your tales of knives gifted or recieved.

Thank You for gifting your first. Also, You need to get a Bk11 you can keep for yourself silly!

Yep, you know what they say; giving is better than receiving.

Ive given 2 Beckers away, a BK2 and a BK9, to some fellows who needed a quality knife. All i have left right now is a BK14, but i dont regret gifting them.

Nice !
Guessing that your friend has a certain size qualities AND a Becker , please forgive me but I think if I'll ever need a loan , I'm not going to ask you for it ;)

Yep, about 6 total, as well as many other knives as well. I'm a firm believer, to get someone interested, you gotta put steel in the hand.

Yeah, that is a good way to say thank you and also get someone interested. Not with knives, but I have loaned a friend a mountain bike (and not a cheap one) for many months and it has paid off in spades, as far as having a riding buddy and introducing him to a new sport. Hopefully get the chance to do the same with a knife. I don't count my wife trying to spirit away my ESEE izula 2, however. Also, unbeknownst to her I just ordered a BK14. (and ESEE-4, shhh) ;)
