Hey I wanted to get opinions on if this knife is any good. I own a cqc-7bw with the wave function and love it, but I happened across this on craigslist. I cleaned it up since the pictures and sharpened it so it looks better. I took the pictures while I was working so they're not the best quality. What's it worth? Is it rare that it's a 1999?

Nice catch, looks like a keeper! I may be wrong, but I believe that Emerson was using dual titanium liners at that point.

Probably around $130. And the value is only from the date aspect of it. You can get a brand new 2010 7 for $130.

i also have a 99 7, and i am not aware of any added value based on the age.

it does have a few advantages over newer models, though.

the scales are nicely contoured toward the liners and the fit of the scales to liners is much better than those produced now.

it also offers tip down carry for those that prefer it.
