I came home from work today to find that the postman had delivered the Large Sebenza Classic that I ordered from James Mattis. A large Sebenza was the next logical step since I've had my small for almost two years now.
I am very impressed with the knife. I was already familiar with the fit and finish of Sebenzas--it was the size that impressed me. Most of my knives are in the size range of the small Sebenza and the large is meaty enough to make them look like toys. I cannot imagine comparing a large and an umfaan side-by-side. I also really like the classic handle. It fits my hand very well and the smooth hanlde edges seem more ergonomic than the ridges on my small.
Now I only wish that I could afford one of wood inlay beauties like everyone keeps posting in here.
