I received my new 560 recently and the lock works, the clip works, the pivot is perfect, the flipper works, and the detent is spot on.

I might have to send it in to have them take a look at it!! ;)

It is a fine piece and I am very happy with it.:thumbup:

Sounds like 99+% of them.

I found something else cool about the 0560 that really blew me away. Mine cuts stuff!!! I know, I know, right!? Weird!

My 0560 should be here Thursday afternoon! Been looking forward to it all week. I'm sure I will get yelled at for flipping it obsessively during Person of Interest and The Mentalist this evening but that will not stop me or even slow me down it will just be an excuse to turn the new surround sound system up really high :encouragement:

I have had my 560 for about a month now and it has been just as you described about perfect in every way. A great blending of modern knife making technology and design with the best in materials. A very "high water mark" in production knife manufacturing. Well done ZT!

Put me in the 99%+ camp as well. My 0560 is PERFECT. Not surprised. So is my 0301 and two 0551's.

The OCD is strong in the KAI/ZT Forum. :)

6 Blurs
2 Clashs
Shallot
4 Skylines
Leek
2 Tilts

2 350

560

All part of the 99%.

I am very pleased with the 560,

Does anyone else realize what a high standard these knives are being held to ?

There are safe knives and there are users and ZTs are made to be used.

I have owned so many custom knives made mostly by hand and made in very small runs and some one offs that have sticky locks , off center blades, etc... and they don't get the attention these mass produced ZT's are.

I give Thomas and Jimmer much respect for standing before the public and backing there product like i have never seen before by another company....it's alot of work posting in these threads besides there regular jobs.

I have to agree. My 560 raised the bar for what I expect out of a knife at this price point. I was buying customs not so much for the appreciation of them being custom but rather because you HAD to buy them if you wanted a bearing operated flipper folder. I know their was only 3 other models of bearing flipper knives available from one other company but they really didnt meet my needs. I like an overbuilt folder. I dont put my knives through hell but they do get used. I dont need a knife of this caliber but I like knowing its there if I ever did. I seriously was giddy when I heard this was going to be released. I read about it and decided to stay off the forums as I would become obsessed with it until its release. Then I missed the initial run of knives and then the second. I found a dealer who had one and only one and jumped on it. So far its my favorite folder ever. And Im pretty sure it will continue to be. That is unless KAI introduces some more KVT knives.

Great RD, you just opened up a whole other can of worms. People gonna start complaining that their 560 can't cut railroad spikes! ;) :D

Got my 0560 in the mail today! It is my sixth ZT and by far the best factory edge that any of them have had yet IMO. It is one of the perfect 99+%. The pivot needed a slight adjustment to get the blade perfectly centered(I don't consider that a problem). The KVT action was a little stiff at first but within 20-30 flips you could already feel it starting to smooth out and now it is as smooth as it could get. The detent is just right IMO strong enough to hold it closed without making it difficult to open with flipper or thumb studs. I love all of my ZT's but think the 0560 will be my favorite by a long-shot!:applouse:
