Go this beast in the mail last week, and I'm loving it. It's my first knife with D2, and even with a just shy of shaving sharp edge, it cuts like a scalpel.

Already put a ding in the edge, normally a weeping shame on a new toy, because I overestimated the amount of force I had to put into slicing something, and rammed the blade full force into concrete. It's almost imperceptible to the naked eye, but I know what it would have done to the edge on most of my other knives, including ones with S30v. All that nick does is impress me more.

Also my first Axis lock. Not sure if I love the lock, but it's slowly growing on me.

That is the only Benchmade model I've ever regretted selling. It is truly a great knife and a heck of a bargain.

Absolutely. It's a heavy one, but without a doubt solid. Actually just finished getting the nick out. Took all of ten minutes and its even better than before. Definitely a keeper for me.

Don't think I'll ever use it for its designed use (hunting, skinning), but it definitely suits my needs and planned uses (cardboard, tubing, plastic pipe...).

I've always wanted to hear someones opinion on the bone collector! I don't see a lot of people talking about them on this forum which has made me even more interested in getting it to see for myself.

I have the adamas and its one heck of a tank. Feels like I'd have to shoot it with my Kimber 1911 to make a dent in it.

Anyways, I like the way the bone collector looks more so than the adamas. I wonder what they're like side by side!

Yeah, been seeing that one posted up all over the place here. Benchmade's amazingly well done answer to the 300, minus the recurve.

That bad boy is tempting, and I haven't read a bad thing yet.

May actually have to make a mini bone collector my next knife purchase. Looks like it would fit nicely in the fob pocket of jeans.
