Bought it from a guy online, and got a heckuva deal on it. Made in 1993, never used, 5-bladed Bulldog sowbelly, with the pinched bolsters and jigged bone handles. Beautiful knife. Excellent walk-and-talk. Merry Christmas to me! What sucks is, it's too pretty to use. I never thought I'd say that.

That is a very good knife ya got there. I have some 3 bladed sowbellies and really like 'em too. I haven't seen a 5 blade in quite a while. Good score.

I got a 1998 Stag Bulldog Copperhead a few weeks ago, one of the nicest slipjoints I own. I patined the blades this week with an apple, and they came out looking kinda like Damascus, make it look even more antique.

yes, bulldog brand knives are sweet. i got 2 now, bought one last year at smoky mountain knife works, and just got the other for christmas. one is a buffalo horn congress w/ bar sheild, and the other is a winterbottom stag cut congress... both very nice!

Here's a Cuttin' Horse Sowbelly pattern. Where else are you gonna find a high carbon steel bladed knife with pinched and grooved bolsters that operates like these knives do? Matchstriker pulls to boot.
