I just bought a Byrd Cara Cara 2 because of the Facebook sale Spyderco had for 30% off. I really like it. It much bigger than I expected but I think its a good knife for the 20 bucks I ended up paying for it.

My Cara-Cara 2 in FRN should be here this week. I have the G10 version already as well as a Meadowlark 2 in FRN. The FRN Meadowlark is much smoother than the G10 Cara-Cara 2 & I'm hoping the new knife will be the best of both worlds.

I just ordered a Cara Cara Rescue and a Finch, both in FRN. I've wanted to try out the Byrd line anyway and these deals at Amazon were just too good to not try out. I hope they are suitable for daily use. The price is certainly good. I know the 8CR13MOV isn't that premium of a steel, but for this price I can deal with resharpening. I've just bought some sharpening supplies anyway and could use the practice.

I've had Meadowlarks 1&2 along with the Cara Cara 1&2 for a while now. For EDC they've been fine. I haven't had any of them dull on me through the day where I can't use them. They're awesome for the price. I've also given several as gifts and everyone likes them.

I just got one recently too. The Cara Cara 2 is very similar in size to the Endura. Not a bad knife for the money. I wouldn't feel bad at all with really using it, knowing that I can replace it without cringing.

I've been carrying my Cara Cara 2 FRN at work for 2 weeks now & I really like it. The handle fits me better than my Enduras & the action is plenty smooth. It weighs nothing & I don't notice it in my pocket. I highly recommend it, especially for the price.
