I just received my Byrd Crossbill in the mail. I ordered the G10.fully serrated blade from a well known auction site for $28, all I can say is WOW!! This thing seems like it will be an amazing performer for the price.
I have never owned a Spyderco knife before, mostly because I hate the way they look. But now I think I am going to have to save up for a real Spyderco hawkbill. I bought this thing to use as a beater at work, I often have to cut through thick rubber hoses and plastics and cardboard. This might be first time that I've looked forward to going to work in quite sometime. :D

If any of you have thought about picking one up, and haven't.... BUY IT.

Hello, Not being a wise guy. I have seen That line about "Kill Bill" and the Buck line. I guess i am dense, i don't get it. Would someone please explain? Thanks, Henry

i have both the ss and g10 version and the G10 version is much lighter and opens much easier. the ss is more classy though.

both are great!

I love mine. Same G10, fully serrated. Cuts like a beast! And has held its edge well, which is good as I don't relish sharpening serrations. May just buy a new one when the time comes to sharpen. Why not for the price, right?

Hello.
im looking for the Byrd Crossbill with fully serrated blade, but can't find it anywhere.
Where did you buy yours?
Thank you

I think CM was referring to the mind reading bit, considering he was born knowing how to wave a knife.

:D
