I just received my Byrd Crossbill in the mail. I ordered the G10.fully serrated blade from a well known auction site for $28, all I can say is WOW!! This thing seems like it will be an amazing performer for the price.
I have never owned a Spyderco knife before, mostly because I hate the way they look. But now I think I am going to have to save up for a real Spyderco hawkbill. I bought this thing to use as a beater at work, I often have to cut through thick rubber hoses and plastics and cardboard. This might be first time that I've looked forward to going to work in quite sometime.
If any of you have thought about picking one up, and haven't.... BUY IT.
