slicer and my ESEE 5 slightly thinned down. I had already stripped the coating off the ESEE and he really prettied up the main bevel. Both are VERY sharp now. I wish I could get an edge like this, but I'm completely useless in that area. I'm really digging the work he did.

Gorgeous work. But then, come on, it's Big Chris. Of course it's gorgeous work.

Yeah, he does good work for sure. And he lives like 20 minutes from my house. I forsee having a lot of knives worked on by him in the future.

Gavin, I am glad you are pleased.
That Slicer Grind is the best I have done this far, IMO.

Very nice. Chris is regrinding my s110v manix and when it gets back I plan on sending him a domino. Chris is providing a great service to the knife community.

While it isn't a regrind, I've got a Big Chris fixed blade on my belt right now and it cuts like a laser beam!

Did you lose any blade length on that XM? If so, how much?

Regardless, the knives look great.

No, There was no blade length lost.
I thinned the edge, blended in the new grind, and then applied the final sharpening.

I want to thank Chris for doing these kind of regrinds. Very nicely done. He did a couple of Swamp fox knives for me to sharpen up the edges ( not Regrind on mine ) and they are sharp. I bet that ESEE 5 is a great slicer now. Very nice.

Thanks. It's the sharpest pry bar I've ever seen. :D It push cuts phone book paper, no problem.

Thanks for the info, Big Chris! Excellent job on those blades.

And thanks for the quick pic, Gavin.
