Well I finaly broke down and got one. Very nice, very solid, easy to set up and while I haven't tried it on a blade yet it looks like it will be a time saver for sure. I realy like the way the small wheels change out, don't think you could make a faster system. I went ahead and got the optional extension for 2x72" belts also, it doesn't take up that much more room.

Now If I can just part with the money to get a KMG I'll be in tool heaven!

Will you lucky dog! Ive been eyeballing those for a while. Send it to me and I can tell ya how it works.:)

Can we get a "You Suck!" here? Ya lucky dawg, ya!

I want one of those so bad, it hurts. :(

Great. I wasn't aware there is an optional extension. I'll have to check that out.

I was going to get one before Rob came up with the extension, but I've been putting it off, hard to part with that much money, but well worth it. Aparently the extension is fairly recent and only takes up anouther 18" and I've got it mounted on a dedicated small island type bench. Best part is only have to order one size belts.

Yes, I have pondered making my own extension but have not. I'll check it out some time after Christmas when I am better healed. I am sure Rob advised you to split your belts. There will still be times when you'll want to use the full two inches (handle work) but for edge grinding you'll waste a lot of belt if you don't split them. I love my Rob Frink horizontal grinder so much that without it I quit.
