I had wanted one for a while, but was holding off awaiting another knife to get back in stock, so I waited and waited. I waited so long that when I finally checked again, my favorite online retailer showed he was all out of the PE model. I called up Lone Wolf and sure enough, they've discontinued the CF model in favor of the G10 model (which I also like...wish I could afford both). So, I frantically searched the web for retailers with the CF PE version still in stock and found one.

It arrived today, picked it up tonight after work. Pivot was a bit stiff, so I lubed it and adjusted the pivot screw a bit. Much smoother now. The blade is not centered though, but there's no play when open in any direction...very solid lockup. I love the look and it feels great in the hand and fits my hand very well. The CF isn't perfect. Well, it's perfectly smooth (well finished), but I could see little things under the surface...small blemishes I guess. And there are some rough edges around the drilled holes for the various screws and lanyard hole. Those are picky things tho. This will be my new EDC...really looking forward to see how I like the knife. I love the way the CF looks! It is a bit smooth, but thus far, no problems with retaining it securely in my hand. And it's a very long blade for the handle length, which I love.

Yes, a bit of a pointless thread...I just had to post as I'm so excited and my wife is tired of hearing me talk.

The Harsey T1 does look a little 'rough' around the edges, but I think that's by choice rather than neglect... Because the fit and finish is so nice, the bead-blast well done, and other elements, I think they 'rough up' the knife a little that way. If you check around the screws, there are some chips in the CF clearcoat, too.

None of which will be noticeable after a little use, but I notice the same things myself.

I very much like on the T1 how the liner becomes part of the grip of the knife. All in all, great knife especially for the money.

Watch the bead-blast on the S30v blade, though. It has a tendency to rust more easily than non-blasted S30V would.

I like mine! The only gripe I had was the obtuse factory edge on it. That has been fixed. :D

Good to know my T1 isn't a bit off from others. I've noticed the clearcoat around the screws also. It doesn't really bother me, just something I noticed as I googled over the knife when I got it. I'll keep an eye on the bead-blasted S30V. I have other bead-blasted blades that I haven't had problems with as I don't really live in a humid or salty environment, but I'll definitely keep that in mind and my eye open.

What angle is the factory edge ground at? I hope it doesn't take me too long to put a 30-deg included angle on a sharpmaker.

I took mine to about 40 inclusive and then convexed it. I think from eyeballing it was at over 25°/side originally
