Bennett,
The Wilkinson Dartmoor is an interesting blade. Anything from Wilkinsons will be well made but I wonder about the design. Haven't we moved on from saw backs, hollow handles and all-singing blades.
As for this being current issue to the S.A.S. I'm surprised if it is for two reasons. Firstly, what most special forces operators need is a good honest combat knife, and secondly the knife was developed with the help of instructors from the Royal Marine Training Centre in Lympstone, Devon and the S.A.S. being Army would frown on anything from the Royal Marines.
Having said that I would be interested in your thoughts on the knife.
