Hi , i just got it in today and it is perfect in every way just wanted to share my feelings on this knife i think i will be very pleased. How easy is it to sharpen the serrations with the sharpmaker and how long does h-1 generally hold an edge, i got it in spyder edge because i read that the h-1 gets harder as time goes by is this true, also what or the advantages and disadvantages of the SE over the PE h-1 blade. thanks
 
It will be a breeze to sharpen on the sharpmaker and the H-1 will hold an edge for a decent amount of time. With the SE, I prefer to touch them up often, rather than let them get dull and have to resharpen them. you'll be pleased with the H-1. I used an atlantic salt for quite some time as a commercial fisherman and was very impressed.
 
I am also a fan of the Salt series. I carry an Atlantic around and don't shy away from using it. A good user knife for sure.
