Satin finish Plain edge.

What a great knife! I even broke down and ordered a pirate clip for it. This knife seems made to abuse. (gently)

I've got a mini cqc 7b that I love. I'm probably going to get either a horseman, cqc 7a, or a-100.

I'm thinking of getting one with serrations. I usually don't like them, but it seems like they belong more on an Emerson for some reason. I guess because to me these knives aren't meant for light duty careful cutting. They are no nonsense tough workhorses. If I get a longer blade with serrations I'll still have a good amount of plain on it.

What's on your list?
Anyone else like serrations on their emersons?

Congrats on the 14, its defo one of the greats

I'm personaly not fond of serations, they are on the part of the blade I seem to use most so just get in the way.
If you have a use for them or just like the looks then fair play but they aint for me.

Good on you, the Snubby should be a great go anywhere knife.
Mine should be in the mail today, can't wait :p

You couldn't help yourself eh buddy? Let us know how you like it.:D

Congrats on the new Emerson, Slim! Great choice.

If you are thinking of an addition, I highly recommend an A-100, as it is truly an amazing knife. It is hard to describe the feeling 'in hand' that the A-100 evokes, other than to say that it is a Zen experience.

Please give us a report when you use it. The Snubby is on my list - as is an A100!

I'll wait for the Super A-100! :)

Good luck with the Snubmeister Slimshaneee.

What a coincidence, I am waiting for one too. ;)

What do you suppose is the difference between the A-100 and the Super A-100? :

Haze, you could be right, taking into account the Super 8.
In that case, I don't think I need a larger 100, anything larger, would be a cop/sheeply issue.
