A friend of mine found out that I've been eyeing the Magnadot so he ordered one online and mailed it to me. Twas waiting for me last night when I got off of work.
This knife is SWEET!
It has a Modified Clip point Bowie blade with dual finger ramps and dual thumb studs. The blade is just under 3/16ths of an inch thick and shaving sharp. The handle is large and fills my hand well. My Buck 110 and SOG X-42 Auto clip were big, but this bad boy is even bigger.
Lock up is solid with no blade blade and the action is smooth. It gets better the more I opening it. The Fit finish and grinds are excellent, just what I'd expect from SOG.
The dual finger groves/ramps help provide a wide range of grips. and make it much easier to choke up on the knife for skinning or other delicate tasks. The Serations are very sharp and will make rope cutting really easy.
This knife comes with a Black Nylon pouch wich holds it quite well. It's even setup for Vertical and Horizontal carry. Wish is really great to have IMO.
I'm supprised that this knife doesn't get more publicity on the Forums. It's a great inexpencive Tank of a knife. You guys should really check it out,
Heber
