Randomly decided I wanted a tomahawk, found a forged one online.
Maker said it's made from carbon steel, didn't seem like a fancy one but said it would hold up very well, has good warranty.

Once out of the box I looked at the head and handle, seems very balanced and tight. Very nimble in hand.
Edge is very sharp, easily will shave and slice paper. Looks like it would wedge in wood, probably prefers meat and bone over chopping wood ;)

Here's are the pictures, hopefully I'll add more once I get to chop some wood with it.

I can't give specifics on this hawk, i just knoe the handle is 18.5 inch. Carbon steel head.
I'll measure tomorrow.
Maker is craig barr.

I asked him to make me a chicken head hammer with its beak as a spike, but no go :(

Craig Barr does some cool work. Haven't bought from him but seen some of his work I like. And that's one thing that defines how well the tool is gonna work for me is how much I like it. Don't need another hawk, but if I did I would buy from him.

Took this thing on a few hikes near my home. What an amazing hawk. Easily cuts wood, great balance for throwing, and is sharp enough to cut sandwiches (was curious..).
My coworker loves it so much he got one himself.

Sorry no pictures.
