Saw this little beauty on the Bay and didn't think it should be passed by...

A nice little Wire Jack. It's in better shape than the picture indicates, and a mineral oil soak has it snapping like new. Now to give it a nice convexing and enjoy EDCing something 65 years young!

I found a little wobble in the blade on really cleaning it up, so I guess it'll get some time with a hammer tomorrow.

That was a good buy. I paid $20 for mine, it is in about as good condition as yours. they sure got snap don't they?

Looks like yours still has the colored insert, usually they get lost, they also made a Boy Scout and a Girl Scout version with different colored inserts.

Nice piece of history, now ya gotta get the set with pouch for keepin' it all together.:thumbup:

The George Schrade ones never had the insert. That was a patent his son got later to revive the patent marks and incidentally, remove the guillotine effect!
