Just wanted to share a picture of a new knife I just got. These scales are done perfect, I see no flaws. I wanted to check out the Rat 1 real bad and I have no complaints. The custom scales do the trick also. So I could not pass this one up for my collection. The g10 is nice and thick, the knife feels rock solid.

Those are very nice scales, Vader! I love my RAT-1's too, but I can't seem justify the price of customizing, so I stick with the stock Nylon-6:

Btw, what did those run you, if you don't mind saying?

Those scales are fantastic!!! & I agree about the clip...more info please.

The clip......I will take more pics. I just removed the clip and there are threaded brass inserts inside the scale for the clips screws to thread into, Very well done. I will get more pictures for you all.

I added new pics up top for you guys to look at. And now have some black para cord tied on as always. The clip is definitely a conversation piece for knife people. It is a cool idea, well executed, seems to work well and is plenty strong. I think I will be getting a second rat one to beat on. Excellent knife  I'm going to keep this one in the collection. The clip and scales are some lookers in my opinion. For those who asked price.....I would have to say $60 bucks if the knife was $40. If the knife was $30.....I paid just about $70 for the scales.

I can make these myself but I like to purchase other peoples work and admire it also. To the person who made these scales, I dig them.

That is killlller, Id like to see a set on a utilitac 2.. or a para2 or anything.. man those are cool especially if you did different color combos

Man you are so correct BigRob.... that pattern reminds me of diamond plate in a way, would look sick on Para2.

Don't take this as an insult or anything, they look great but they remind me of pikachu lol.

Really like the clip and the file work

Wow!!! That it does CK. I knew there was a look of familiarity but I just didn't know what. It is an awesome set of scales Vader and the clip is terrific, kind of has a serpent head look to the clip

Lol, I will have to get out my sons cards and check out the character. Poke e Mon I think they are called ? The yellow helps it become more of the conversation piece and I knew it would. Wild is the word I got from a few, and Pikachu from a guy named Cereal Killer. I totally understand, I love it. Good stuff. I'm going to go find the cards and the figures and go look at them. I want to say I know what makes you say that. Lmao, Thanks CK, that's the official name of the knife now. I can see it now.......Honey, I hear someone busting into the house, go grab Pikachu and go Poke e mon. That's bad ass.

Not exactly a low profile clip:D
I applaud the bold design, but its not for everybody.

Must admit, that Im a huge fan of the hue of those slabs.
But then I like 'desert tan/kahaki/coyote brown' gear these days.
Most likely a 'Sand Box' effect:p
Great pic IMO.

Looks great, I love the color scheme especially with the black blade.

Not diggin that strange pocket clip though. The original one is perfectly fine.

I have the Rat 1 and 2 but much prefer the Rat 2.

Nice looking Rat 1 knives! Those custom scales are very unique. I wish there were more scale options available that didn't cost twice the price of the knife!
