Just got back from a funeral

I went to watch on of my best friends bury his teenage son today. Words can't describe how terrible it is for my friend. His son passed last week in a tragic accident, and my friend and his wife and their kids are just devasted.

Anyway, for those of you who are parents, give your kid a hug, or a call, or do a little something for them today. You never know when it can be all taken away. I know my kids will get an extra hug tonight.

Sorry to hear that. I cannot imagine the pain from that loss.

I extend my prayers. I can't imgine what that must be like. Thanks for reminding us that tomorrow is not promised to anyone and that we should treat every day likes it's the last.

I've been burying too many of my own friends in the last few months, but that's a scenario I can't imagine. And I don't want to. :(
