I get things sent to the office and asked Uncle Bill address it to my lady friend, who works there too. Of course, a mystery package from "Himalayan Imports" arriving at a software development shop does not get overlooked at the front desk, so it arrived at my office with a small procession of co-workers.
After she got the surprise package open, and was demonstrating her disemboweling technique for the gallery, the company president showed up right on time. He's a very good man and a friend, but I think he's a mite concerned at the size of our knives.
She really likes it, and so do I. Nice balance, not too heavy, not too light. It just wants to be in your hand.
As for it being a "blem," well, I guess Uncle Bill's description was accurate (he is *very* picky). It's a wonderful knife with lots of personality and spirit.
