After a couple of days Ill post a short review.
For now all I can say it that it came SCARY SHARP and Snaps out with authority.
Please feel free to add comments about this knife if youve handled one before(good or bad)

I took delivery of my T2 a few weeks ago and I'm happy to say that I'm very pleased with it indeed. I went for the cocobolo handle slabs and a plain edge without serrations. Mine came pretty sharp (as good as any factory edge I've seen in a long while) but with a little work putting a well polished, convexed, micro bevel on it the thing has become one hell of a slicer!
It's comfortable in my "larger than average" hand without being too big and bulky to have clipped into my pocket without knowing it's there until I need it.
The lock seems positive and there is no discernable blade play at all. I'll wait and see what it turns out like in the long run (a year or two of use in the woods etc) before I comment on true build quality, but the build and finish on the knife suggest that it will be a damned good knife to have on me for a long long time to come.

I've had 2 of these knives. Both got a "mind of their own" after playing with them awhile. One opened in my pocket once and that was it for me. All sorts of strange behavior I won't bother typing. I think the design is unsafe. I finally exchanged for a liner lock T2 and I'm very happy with it.

It is sort of unique to see "CPM-S30V" and "D2" written on the same blade.

Cool.

I have a T2 in S30V and I like it, I dont have a D2 yet I will have to check that out.

Sort of redundant but the "D2" stands for "double action". The knife is an auto that can also be opened with the thumb studs....double action. It has nothing to do with D2 steel.

Every time I see a lone wolf thread it just serves as a reminder - DON'T buy one. That looks like a marketing decision to trick somebody. I’ve not seen that “term” used as you suggest elsewhere.

Not sure I understand your meaning. Lone Wolf makes great knives. Have you ever even seen one? My T2 is in the top 10 of all my folders and I have over 100. It's a great knife.

Is it the term "double action" that you are confused about? There are many such autos made. They often have a "hidden" botton someplace on the knife. I've already posted what I think about the Lone Wolf double action but as far as their other knives, they are some of the best production knives on the market.

Bladeprince, I think gbaker was clearly referring to the use of the "D2" stamping on the blade. If someone were looking for a knife with D2 steel, they might incorrectly assume this knife had it since D2 was stamped on the blade. It could be misleading. Lone Wolf could have just as easily printed "DA" on the blade.

Comes scary sharp, stays scary sharp, and mine (a T1) does indeed snap out with authority. The liners make most other linerlocks seem 'unsafe,' and the knife just feels solid. Lone Wolf are great to deal with, and stand behind their products.

If that's the case, I withdraw my comment.

Yes that was my point.
