I'm sure I'm waaaay late to the game, but I love this knife. I always wanted one but just never got one. I just happened to get one in a trade today and I love this thing.

It's a 154CM plain edge satin finish BM 730 Ares. The one with the red and black G10 handles. Man the liners are thick as heck on this bad boy. I love how sturdy the knife feels and I just can't believe that I never picked one up before. I handled a 732BT at a local shop but just never bought it.

The blade seems just about the perfect size and shape for a ton of things. It's also the right size (not too big or too small).

What a great knife.

Here are a few pics. :D

Awesome Pics! I just got a new 710 the other day, and your new knife is making my jealous!

Great little knife you ended up with! Nice camera work too. The pitures are fisrt rate..

A BM730 was my first Benchmade folder, and I have to say, it is also one of my favorites...Smooth as butter...

Ah yes, the mighty Ares, IMHO one of the most underrated Benchmades around. I own one just like yours, as well as the next model with the green/black G-10 scales, AKA my Philadelphia Eagles knife. ;)

I've had my 730CFHS longer than any other Benchmade I've owned. The M2 steel is great for anything you need it for, but stands out when shredding cardboard boxes. I love the shape of the blade, and the feel of the handle. With the Axis, it opens with ease, and tip-up carry is the only way to go.

Great pics, BTW!

Thanks guys.

The only thing that I have to get used to is how the G10 is kind of slippery. I'm used to Spyderco G10. :)

Congratulations. Great pictures as well. I have a 735 and it is by far my favorite Benchmade.
