This is the first set of micarta scales i've ever had and i've got to admit I like the feel of them on the necker over the paracord wrap. They are very easy to install, tight fit with no slop. How do you guys think it looks?

Makes me miss the one I just gifted out. It's a hot little knife for sure. Love that micarta.

Thanks, the only problem I see is that the bolts are a tad too long and protrude past the handle about 1/32". Just enough to bug me. Anyone.else have this problem? If so any suggestions short of grinding it down?

They look great. I like the para wrap but the micarta may be in the future
I use the BK 11 the most of any knife and don't see that changing anytime
soon.

i plan on getting some pretty soon. they look good. too bad they don't come in different colors. i'm sure i could dye them though.

The bolt head or the threaded end? I got mine about a month ago. Didn't have this problem, maybe a different batch or have you not fully tightened them.

Or over tightened them perhaps. I found that if I really cranked down on the bolts, the thread end stuck out just a tad. I backed off and they were fine and just as tight.

Thanks sqoon, they were too tight, I loosened them up a bit and put some blue threadlock on the threads. thanks for the tip!
