I just recieved my um num from the big brown truck today and all i can say is im blown away. Typical chris reeve fit and finish, perfect in every way. I have a few sebenzas and this knife takes it 10 steps further. Im going to write a full review within a day or so, but for now im just blown away:D. I guess this is why it won blade of the year. ---As far as anyone whos says they were let down after seeing pictures, or the other b.s that it was unimpressive, give me a break already. Once the umnumzaan is in hand its whole different ballgame. Pictures dont do it any justice. Ive had alot of collector knives in the past, so im rather jaded by high end knives; but this new umnumzaan is at the top of my all time greatest list.:thumbup:

1600 bucks? it better be good.

Personally, it think it's ugly and it holds NO interest for me. However, if you like it, more power to you:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Enjoy it!

My whole opinion of a sebenza changed when I actually had one in hand. But I still think that handling this umnum can't possibly change my opinion about the silly o-rings used on it. Same goes for the blade shape, lack of pivot bushing, and the stupid tool needed for the pivot screw. All four of those things to me are ridiculous. I bet in the long run, this thing will not be such a conversation piece on these forums. I am a HUGE HUGE Sebenza fan, and always will be. I just am very disappointed in this Umnumzaan. I also don't like how Chris Reeve spells it wrong.
