Well it was a first for me. First kershaw, first composite blade, first D2, first frame lock, first AO. I have to admit, I really enjoy this knife :thumbup: It's a pleasure to hold and use. I was able to get the D2 blade very sharp, very quickly. Not to mention the AO is really growing on me!

A great introduction into Kershaw knives, like it so much i ordered my girl a pink leek :D
 
Hopefully your future Kershaw purchases will "feel like the first time" BoxANT.:D
 
That sure is a lot of "firsts" for the first time. :D Nice choice for the first one too.

My bro carries his every day since he got it. Cleans up the edge on the
weekend, ready for the next week.

When composite Shallots come out you ought to look into them. They are a big brother to the Leek and just as amazing!
 
Run while you still can!! Kershaw knives are great, but before you know if you are going to own 10. The cb leek was my edc since it came out until I got the new skyline. In fact the skyline has been my only non-leek edc in years.

I've been working on this CPM-D2 all weekend.

I admit I am no "hair whittler" but damn, this stuff is getting sharp! Just gonna see how far i can take it! My Sharpmaker is getting a workout.

Glad you're happy with yer new Kershaw boxant! That is a lot of firsts, and you did them all with the right knife:thumbup: But if you want to know about another "first", as in first off the assembly line, just ask SVrider about his Damascus Chive. I don't know who got the first CB Leek off the assembly line.......;)

Let us know when you're next Kershaw arrives, I'm sure it won't be long:D
