Wow. Just Wow is all I have to say. I think I have a new favorite knife in the 5. I got it in tonight as well as a set of micarta scales. This is my first experience with micarta and I definitely understand the hype. I can't put this thing down lol. Future mods include stripping her, some kind of patina, a leather sheath, and I really wanna dye this micarta a dark brown. I don't even know how to post photos but I'm gonna go make an account now just to show off this bad girl lol
 
Awesome. I LOVE the bk5. Upload pics to photobucket, then copy the IMG link and paste directly in your post, that cuts out the uploading image middle man. Congrats
 
Congrats on the new blade, no need to dye the micarta brown, it will turn brown over time.....

I love mine ALOT! I like to have a custom version of it with a few slight changes. One without a choil and without the beveled spine would be perfect IMHO!
 
All this 5 talk is making it harder for me to hang on to the money I have set aside for my machax! Congrats man, it seems like a hell of a knife. I recently got some micarta for my 9 and it completely changes the feel of the knife (for the better) I thought I loved my 9 before!!! looking forward to some pictures.
 
Still got 2.5 months left to save, buy a 5 I'm all for instant gratification. I'm coming home with my arms full of machaxes and pockets full of tweeners, heck im wearing bdu's when I go shopping just so I have more pockets to put them in.
 
Congrats on the bk 5 it will probably be my next purchase. Great looking knife Oregon looks very old west.

Sorry it took so long guys. Well here she is. Clich I love that 5, lol wanna fisk mine? jk I think I might do the bleach etch on the swedge, kinda how you did your 10, but idk yet.
