Just got my BK5 today...

...with many thanks due to Bladite! I was the lucky recipient of this lovely new blade from his contest last week! This is the first time I've held one in person and I must say, I'm impressed. I've looked at all the specs before, but it seems bigger than I expected. It feels great in the hand though, and I'll try and post a thorough photo review just as soon as I can get some time outdoors!

Congrats. I always carry my bk5 with me when I hike. It's my fav becker blade. Not a chopper, but great for processing wood, game, and food. haha

Ya know, I didn't really care for it either. It was the one Becker that really didn't appeal to me. That is however, until I held it. This thing is badass! If the Mrs. doesn't claim sole ownership, it's gonna come with me when I go hog huntin' next year. If this isn't a pig sticker, I don't know what is...

I just get stuck on jokes. On another forum, I have been torturing people with Rebecca Black ever since that "Friday" song came out. I'd definatley take a 5, I'm just partial to the heavy choppers.
