Just got my brand new mini commander, liner lock almost impossible to close

I just got my brand new BT Mini Commander and I absolutely love it. When I got it the opening and closing was pretty rough and the liner lock took both hands and almost all of my force to close, sometimes it would lock up and be harder than other times to close, almost impossible. I put ballistol in the pivot point and it smoothed up the opening and closing but the closing of the liner lock is still soooo hard. I have been opening and closing it all day and still the same. Anybody have this problem? What should I do? Any suggestions? Thanks!!

Put (or draw) #2 pencil on the tang where the liner lock touches. The lead will cause it not to stick. People do the same with the Strider SNG and SMF's.

Sharpie is also commonly used, applied to the lock face.

Send it in, the lock face is cut incorrectly.

I've had almost all my Emersons start this way and after awhile the all break in and it loosens up. Nothing wrong with developing a manly thumb either.
