well here it is...

well as you can see i did a couple temp mods to it. first was the bread tie wave. it works pretty well actually. and second was my first time attempting to make a lanyard. and yes that's shoelace since i have no idea where to get paracord. since i didn't feel like cutting the cord and having something useless so the lanyard will be re made at a different time.

but i doubt anyone really cares about that you want me to get down to the good stuff eh?

well one thing this thing is its light being a lockback without liners and a frn handle it weighs in under an ounce.
the edge out of the box was sharp but left lots to be desired. paper cut test was about 7/10 cuts were clean.

lockup is secure but due to its small size and non adjusting pivot theirs some side to side and the barest hint of up and down..

deployment is quick once i got the hang of it. and its even quicker with the gheto wave.

cant comment on the blade steel since i haven't done any decent cutting with it. and i haven't re profiled it to my liking yet ether.

jimping. its Good. best jimping on any knife i have had. to this date.

Detent is a bit weak but its a small knife so not expecting it to be like a vise. it can be shaken/flicked open. but i doubt it would come open in the pocket.

but all in all its a good knife for what i payed for it.
if i missed anything please tell me.

Couple of slight hammer taps on the pivot pin, should take care of the blade play (at least side-to-side). I've done it with my native, that became a bit loose after a year of use. Be careful though, you might loose the deployment speed, if you over do it.

yea i'v heard about doing that. but really its not that bad but i will be tightening it sometime.

I'm really liking your first attempt at the lanyard. Fine looking job.
Byrd really does make one helluva nice knife for the money, huh?
