I got a caly 3 and lady bug 3 today. What great knives.

The caly 3 is amazingly nice. F&F is excellent and it feels so nice in the hand. the finger choil and thump ramp with jimping makes it flow in your hand.

Have i got this knife a year or two ago I wouldn't have appreciated it.

well done Sal and company.

My question is how tough is this knife? I had a Dougritter a while ago and I really used it hard. Would the caly be as tough?

Also, I would like to ask how much tougher would the new CF Stretch be compared to the caly as I have never handled a stretch.

Thanks

The Caly III is not a hard use knife by any means. It's design, material, and build quality will make it very sturdy, especially for its size, but don't expect to be batoning and prying with it anytime soon. Are you talking about the Ritter/Benchmade Griptillian? That will probably be tougher overall, although VG-10 is less prone to chipping. I can't say how tough the new Stretch will be until I have one, but I'd say it is a stronger knife. Hope this helps.
