my brand new cqc 15 looks the same way, just to be safe hold the handle so that your fingers are out of the way if the blade closes and give it a wiggle to see if lock will fail, but make sure your fingers are away from that blade!
youll be ok all mine have done that, i just always make sure they wont fail on me, just in case.
True, but all knives have a break in period. Just like anything else, shoes, guns, clothes, etc. I don't agree that this is common, at least in my experience. The last I've bought have been smooth and have appropriate lock up.Emersons have a "break-in" period. Wave it a few dozen times and the lock up will become later. Very common with NIB Emersons...
Have you tried maybe browsing the for name of the knife online? These aren't being sold secretly after all.quick question, where did you get yours? I have been trying to track one down for a while with no luck. any suggestions?
