I just got my Delica 4 with the foliage green handles. Almost makes me wish I was still wearing Army ACUs everyday. I like the color a lot and give major props to Spyderco for using colors other than black. Also, the grip is noticeably better than on the D3.

I seem to remember a thread where someone said that if this model sold well, then it would be offered in PE. I certainly hope it will.

Is it only offered in CE then? I have a CE one but I didn't know it was the only option. It makes a pretty good work knife I must say. I still like the pointy blade of the D-3 but just about everything else is an improvment on the D-4. The grip is nicer, it is more hand filling and solid feeling. It just feels like a better quality knife all around.

What does the 4 refer to in Delica 4 and Endura 4? Fourth generation? What's the difference. I am trying to decide on a Endura or Delica purchase and quite frankly, they make too many products for their own good. It's enough that I have to choose between PE, SE, or CE, but they have things I don't even recognize like "Delica 4 With Wave". WTF is a wave?

If it really is a problem for you: buy the black CE D4, convert it and send me the spare parts:D

This is the Waved Delica.

The "wave"part catches on you pockets edge, and flips the blade open.

The entire "business chain" from; raw materials, invention, design, manufacturing, marketing, selling, distributing, shipping, warrantees, insurance, credit, etc. ALL EXISTS to service the ELU (End Line User). Remove the ELU from the equation and the entire business chain falls like a house of cards. We all work for you!

I like the foliage green enormously. It really does APPEAR to alter shade,on my green coats it blends in and away from them shows a grey colour. How is this done? Not with hazardous chemicals I hope!

Just got mine too yesterday.. My first Spyderco! A PE FRN handled one. I'm very, very impressed with it. Shaving sharp, great ergonomics, lightweight, inexpensive, perfect size, excellent fit and finish. Went through cardboard like nothing, despite the pretty thick blade. I'm totally sold.

I see you are in Finland too?

Where do you get your Spyders then is there a shop or was this on-line? Thanks

Any idea where to obtain Fällkniven here?

This one was sent to me by an american fellow member on another forum. The only place I know that sells Spyderco is http://www.teraasekeskus.com/. Haven't seen the new Delicas or Enduras there though.

Partiokauppa and ProFish have also had some, but at least the Partiokauppa that's near me doesn't carry them anymore.

Fällkniven is available pretty much anywhere, they're imported by Leatherman Finland, and should have a list of retailers on their site http://www.leatherman.fi/.
