This knife is just totally AWESOME!!!! I can not belive just how much knife I have gotten for so little money. It came sharper than any knife I have gotten in years. Even down to having a buffed final edge. That is a sweet touch. This is the first knife that I can remember buying that I will not be touching up the edge appon arrival to get it how I like. What really suprised me was how small it is in the hand. Not in a bad way. It has the length of my Native in the open and closed positions, but is thinner and not as broad as the Native. It seems to be a super knife and has me convinced that I will need to get the black model if I can find one.
My congratulations to Camillus and Darrell Ralph on one darn fine knife. I have spent 10 times this amount for a knife and did not really get more knife for the money.
The lock up is perfect. The action is one of the smoothest I have ever encountered. The sweet recurve blade has always been one of my favorites, and Camillus has done it right! Fit and finish worthy of a custom. I know you all have heard this before, but I need to state my TOTAL HAPPINESS and SATISFACTION with this EDC. It will be my EDC for some time to come I am sure. Thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!!

Darrell,
I am finding daily just why you designed the EDC in the size and shape that you did. It is one of the slickest little knives I have had the pleasure to own. Since I have gotten the EDC, I decided I needed to try the Camillus Madd Maxx out, since your Maxx has been one of my all time favorite big folders. BEAUTIFUL!! Mine is due on this coming Monday. I can hardly wait. I will let everyone here know what I think when it arrives.

I bought one of the EDCs in D2 from A.G. Russell with the intention of giving it to my oldest son for Christmas. He was using one of the CRKTs in AUS6 on Scout campouts, and that thing could not keep an edge. I swear you could sharpen it, set it on the shelf, come back in a couple days, and it would be dull again from just sitting there. Anyway, upon receiving the knife, I decided to "test drive" if for a couple of days before sticking it under the tree. I was so impressed with it, I kept it and ordered another for the kid, along with a second in 154CM to give to my youngest as his first knife.

The EDC in D2 has been a breeze to sharpen, holds its edge, and the framelock is incredibly secure. I've carried it everyday since.
