Just got my first HI khuk

An 18" AK. My wife ordered it. It was supposed to be a Christmas present, but as luck would have it, I'm working from home today and was here when the mailman arrived. It's a beauty.
 
Okay, well, the question is, how many more will you need to get to satisfy your case of HIKV?

We all start with one...and that seems like all we need...but then somehow one becomes two...each is unique and different and wonderful...and two becomes fifty two :eek: :p

The 18" AK is a classic.
 
I think that's a wonderful choice for a blade and a Christmas present. How much does it weigh?

No way of knowing. My bathroom scale indicates around a 2 lb difference between me and the khuk versus just me, but then again I'm pushing the needle well to the right of the accurate range of a bathroom scale. ;)

I'm jealous I know my first HI knife is waiting for me at home but it will be another 10 days before I get there, I am going to throw my crappy tourist Khuk off of the ferry on my way back.
 
Grob, save it for digging out weeds. That's what I use mine for. Don't care if I hit rocks.
 
Ah... Kismet has said it all again. Your wife is going for the Nobel Prize in Spousery! You'd better write her a glowing letter for the lauriats. Maybe send them some chocolats. She's a keeper dude.

On the other hand, now you can remind her she started this infection each time she catches you with a new khuk!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even the feminazi hotline can't come up with a way out of this hole. She dug herself in deep here.

On the other hand now you've really gotta get her a winner. IMHO only a diamond will do. Maybe its you who is dug in friend.

Seriously sweet knife. Have you looked at others. Which are your favorites. I love my 18" GRS. Yesterday my 20.5" Jange came in and its fast as hell. Feels totaly lethal in motion. My Chiruwa AK is a perfect camp carry knife. And the Kumar Karda is my favorite all around HI knife. No maybe its my JKM, or my Sarge. The little ones are cheap!
