Just got my first Spyderco(s) - Salsa and Meerkat

Just got my first two Spydies - a blue Salsa PE and a Meerket SE.

The funky lock on the Meer makes it more of a novelty than anything, but it's a cool little knife for cheap.

I really like the Salsa though. I've had a CRKT 'Point Guard' for EDC for a few years, but I think the Salsa might replace it. Couple questions: the Salsa feels really stiff, and doesn't seem to be 'breaking in' too much - any hints on how to loosen it up a bit? Also, how do you close one of these one handed? With the liner lock on the back, I can't seem to find a position that will let me put a finger on the blade, a finger on the lock and keep the rest out of the way.

To close the salsa one-handed, just pinch the lock with your thumb and forefinger, then swipe the back of the blade against your thigh or whatever.
I freakin love that knife. I gave my old, blue one to my sister, but I'm going to get another.

yeah the comp lock on the salsa, both alu and Ti version, is quite stiff and there's not much place for the finger either.
ayway don't stop to these 2 first spydies, there are greater models out there I can assure you...
