Just got my first Strider

be careful, those suckahs are sharp! I like the BT as well but ended up ordering a WB.

I didn't think the SOE sheath was designed for horizontal carry. I also can't imagine carrying the a full sized Strider horizontally(well OK ,maybe cross-draw). Where were you thinking of putting it, in the small of your back? That's about the only place that it would go horizontal on me (I'm too round everywhere else  )

Derek,
Glad you like the knife, I'm sorry to let it go, but I know it went to a good home. So, take care of it , make sure it keeps its teeth clean, see that it doesn't goto bed cold and wet and for Pete's sake, don't let it bite you!
Take care, and call me when you want to talk Striders!
Scott

You can carry it horizontally if you wish. Try zip ties. That is the best way I have found. You have 4 hard points to use on the sheath. One above and one below each belt loop attachment. Most people overlook them, but they are there. Look for the little black/green loops that are offset from these belt loops.
