I must say, I'm happy with it. Rene is definately one of the good guys. This thing looks like it came right from Uncle Bill. Not even any scuffing on the blade. The only thing is, no scabbard, but he did send the karda and chakma. Also, it's made by kumar.
here's a pic.

Gotta love that image - Giank K poised above the city. There really ought to be some sinister background music! Great K, Bobwil!

I can't take credit for the beautiful picture, I just got it from Rene, when he shipped the sword.

It's a great picture though.

Rene's shown me some beautiful pics over the past few months.
Here's one of his UBE. Unfortunately, a rebuild of my OS meant I trashed everything on my harddrive. :( So, I don't have any of his old pics.

Actually, I've had this UBE for sale (like the Kobra), and took the pictures for those that were interested.

My buddy got it for me as a birthday present to help boost my internet sales.

However, it is a lovely blade!! I actually think that it's as strong as Ang Khola, with a little more versatility.

Bobwill,

What does that Kobra weigh, and what is approx spine thickness/at thickest point?

VERY NICE BTW:D :D

The spine is just under 1 cm at it's thickest. This is kinda rough though, no calipers, and the spine is a V.

I don't know exactly how much it weighs, I'll put it on the bathroom scale when I get home, but that isn't too accurate.

It has a nice distal taper starting at the recurve, but again, no calipers. :(

I think I originally had it at $130 shipped, though it has been a number of months. However, contact me at me e-mail address and we can discuss this interesting blade further.

I think that Rene managed to steal a sale from you.

Oh well, it allowed Bella to afford one of the villagers, so it all worked out for everyone.
