Folks here would have seen the very impressively clean work by Lucas Burnley. I just had to get myself one of his knives and I picked it up today from the Post Office.

Frankly, it surpasses all expectations. Besides being very clean in the excution, this knife is pretty close to perfection in its fit and finish. The flat grinds are amazingly flat and even with a very very thin edge, and a satin hand rubbed finish to die for. There is not one single "fish-hook" mark in the finish. The handle is comfortable and secure with a matte satin finish on the G10.

I previously told Luc to taper to taper the tangs on his knives to take them that further step. But on this knife, the untapered tang places the balance nicely in the hand and the tapered tang issue fades into the background in the midst of all the other fantastically subtle aspects of this surprising knife.

Photos have been posted previously but here's another look - pics I took today. The photos really don't do the knife justice. Thanks for sharing in my excitement. Jason.
