you guys were right.I just got my new 940 in todays mail.it got here way early.I love it.It is so smoooth,it is simply amazing.I can tell that it will be my EDC and my mini grypt will go in the drawer along with all the other knives.I can't stop looking at it and fondling it.Did I say that I love it.What is 178 dollars compared to what I got.It doesn't even compare with the other benchmade's I have.I don't know why I didn't buy one before now.:D:thumbup:I am one happy camper.
 
Yep, you're done for. That's what I said after my first Grip purchase, "what's $80 compared to what I got?" Followed by, "what's $(insert ever growing amount here) for what I got?" I soon found myself saying it for a CRK and now I'm about to be saying it for a midtech. You can tell yourself you won't broach whatever amount you consider a "no way in Hell" limit, but given how quickly you found yourself satisfied with the purchase, you'll find that there is always a way here in Hell with the rest of us :)
 
The 940 was my gateway drug into higher end modern folders. I couldn't get over the quality of it when I first held one. Then I thought I'd never buy a knife over $150. Man was I wrong. Enjoy and this is only the beginning...
 
The 940 was my gateway knife too, welcome to the party.
I love my 940 so much I still leave the -1 at home for the days I want an old friend in the pocket.
If you ever decide for an upgrade I definiteky reccomemd tge 940-1 as your next barrier breaker. I never thought I'd justify buying a nicer version of the knife I already loved..but once you hold one you know it's more than just "nicer" it's what the 940 dreamed about growing into. Lighter, sharper, faster. Because carbon that's why.
