Just Got My New Commander!!

I ordered an Emerson Commander from the knifecenter of the internet about a week ago- I received it today. I heard about how fast the draw was, but I was thoroughly surprised when I first yanked the knife out of my pocket. Wow! Like said before, the Commander has a definite "Oh ****" factor to it, I know that's exactly what I said when I drew with it. And as it turns out, my Commander has no problems with it at all- blade is great, handle is comfortable, everything on it is perfect.

They are sweet!!! I was working a show one time, and sold the three we had. Once you show someone the "wave" they are hooked.

They really are nice. Mine's become my daily carry.

Even when the wave doesn't work, the wrist flick is really fast with this one. The edge is a real slicer, so watch your fingers.

I see excessive pocket wear becoming a minor problem now. I do love that wave, so it's worth a few extra pair of pants.
 
I just rec'ed one in the mail on New Year's Eve. Man, is it a blast. It has become my daily carry knife also, along with a Spyderco Calypso Jr. for when it would be inappropriate to wipe the Commander out. This is one knife that doesn't travel to MD with me though. This is one aggresive looking knife. The People's Rebuplic of Maryland just wouldn't understand. They would feel the need to protect me from myself and bring forth the demon from my pocket to free my soul to live like a worker bee that needs no tools/knives/guns or independent thoughts. Yeah, I used to live in MD. I moved to PA. Life is good.
 
V-1, I live in Maryland and know about the gun laws, but I didn't know that they were so strict about knives? What knife laws/restrictions have you heard of or know of in Maryland?
