Just received my new Blaze/OD RC-3 in the mail! Wow! Fit and finish are excellent. I'm amazed at how comfortable the handle is compared to my RAT-3. It's slightly longer and that makes the difference. Thanks Derrick for the fast shipping and thanks RAT Cutlery for a great knife!

Here is a lousy picture, but I'll post more.:D

great looking knife...

i really need to get on the ball already and expand my RAT collection.. i really want an RC-3 and/or and RC-4....:o the funds have been really tight lately..

Love my RC-3 Swat edition. Stuck on my belt everywhere but in town. Saves my fancy folders, it's tough. The RC-6 is on my pack and am waiting for my RC-4/orange.
enjoy

Got mine today! Sweet blade. Your picture is better than mine, Benchmadeboy.

What's the best way to carry these? My MOLLE locks don't line up with the holes well, especially for horizontal carry. I'm going to use the belt clip IWB for now. Will a tecklock fit?

Adding some orange paracord as of now!

Woah! Not coating?
Decided to take a walk on the wild side.
I've had this 1095 steel Ontario pilots survival knife for about 24 years, much of that time was on beaches and it's fine because I took care of it. A tiny bit of pitting from when I neglected it, but otherwise fine. It originally had a nice thick parkerized finish that is long gone.
Putting all that aside my RC-3 "Tactical kitchen edition" sees a lot of food prep and I like a nice shiny blade for that.:)

:thumbup:I wouldn't be worried about corrosion for the same reason, I take care of my knives. I would take yours another direction and do a stonewash finish, supposedly helps prevent corrosion and looks pretty.

I thought stonewash would be more prone to rust spotting because of all the little voids and scratches in the surface?

I could be wrong though...

According to Chris Reeve Knives the scratches from the tumble media they use on the Sebenza make the pores in the steel smaller or more difficult for corrosives to keep contact, something like that.
